Sorry to Interrupt All the Fashion Mania, But...

DOCTOR WHO TRAILER!!!!! YOU MUST WATCH.

Lol, it looks as though the Borg have invaded the south.

The Hottest Shoe of the Moment: Cap Toe Pumps!

Inspired by Louis Vuitton's Spring 2012 collection, cap toe pumps have become the hottest shoe in weeks! I myself am in love with them, as I raved in my previous post, and all the styles they've inspired.

Here are the starters, the Louis Vuitton's that I am DYING for.
Now some equally gorgeous and expensive Louboutins. (For those that aren't aware, these are the famous red bottom shoes, that cost thousands a pair, but are so worth it!)
Now for some decently priced pairs from Topshop.

And more from Zara.
And from Bebe.

And some fun flats that are great for school days.

Trust me, you'll want to get in on this trend early ;)

Let's Talk Hunger Games.

As it's been said "Capitol Couture" is all the rage. Leading the way is Effie Trinket, the reaper for District 12, who loves to express her capitol fashion! The Capitol favors loud, bright, obnoxious, out-there clothing, accessories, makeup, hair, and even nails! Here are some shots:

 < Effie
Beautiful, Asian-inspired, brocade fabric with gold accents. The makeup is bright pink balanced with pale, pale skin and blue lips.

< Effie, again
Here we see her shocking eyeshadow, stand-out nails, and doll-face lips.

< Effie's Opening
Here we see her dressed in vintage design clothing matched with modern colors and makeup. Her hair has even been dyed slightly pink.

Louis Vuitton

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Louis Vuitton's Spring 2012 collection?!?!?!?! I'm reuly head-over-heels, love-at-first-sight in love. It's elegant and feminine, without looking too childish or too old. It's incredibly regal and fabulous at the same time.

< So elegant and covered up, yet sensual with all that see-through lace. Balanced perfectly with a high, peter pan collar and knee length skirt.

< The theme - ADORE it. The pristine merry-go-round. Perfect.

< The pale colors yet dramatic eyes, again so in LOVE!

^ I realize I'm becoming repetitive but I have nothing else to say! The feathers with lace mix is so fluffy and light looking, yet tempered so she doesn't look like a chicken.

< The hair- gorgeous!
He's keepnig the trend of a messy updo going, but taking it to a whole new level! The mesy french twist! An even more elegant hairstyles that commands respect but done modernly so as not to look archaiec. IN LOVE. And the thin, jeweled headband, is the best accessory ever. I have to find me one.

^ Check out those eyes! Dramtic without giong all night club trashy. They're channeling Sophie Loren to the max! The trick is to highlight the eyes by having perfectly flawless skin. Then go for the lashes, not the shadow, the lashes.

Prom Dresses from Nordstrom

< BCBGMAXAZARIA $298
This is a beautiful chiffon gown, in a gorgeous color. The simple cut allow the color to speak volumes. Pair it with an equally fun, color-popping shoe. I wouldn't suggest a sparkly shoe, it's too... tacky. Go bold with more colors or go simple with nude.

< Aiden Mattox $295

I ADORE this print! It's fabulous! The colors, the cut, everything's so young, springy, and joyous! I love the current trend of short in the front and long in the back, especially for evening gowns, and this one is perfect. I would do exactly what Nordstrom did and wear a pair of simple, pale gold sandals.

< BCBGMAXAZARIA $298
Gorgeous and effortlessly elegant. I have to caution you, you need the right accessories and demeanor to wear this gown. This isn't something any ninny can "throw on". The color is amazing! With such an elegant dress I would be careful with shoes. I suggest nude, paler tones, but if you can find a pair of colored ones that work, don't be afraid!

<BCBGMAXAZARIA $398
I am loving these BCBG dresses! Another fabulous print, with lots of beautiful color. I LOVE the one shoulder. I absolutely ADORE one shoulder things. I'll probably get married in a one shoulder dress. Wear with simple, nude pumps. Perhaps peep toes.

< As You Wish $64
Sparkle and shine + color looks better on a short dress (too long becomes too tacky). This is plenty fun, so go with a solid shoe, no sparkles down there.

< Adrianna Papell $298
Much as I like this, it's another difficult dress to wear. You have to have the right look. A vintag-y look. You can't just be the normal girl looking for something different. That will end up a mess. Accessories, shoes, hair, everything has to be perfect or you'll go down in history for a bad reason...

< Way-In $98
Grecian, but with a twist. I like the front, especially the neckline, but I'm not too fond of the back... However, this would be a great pro dress. Although, I don't like the stark white with black shoes. Too shocking. Go for either silver or a color, preferably a paler one to continue the romantic theme.

< Aiden Mattox $295
Over the top, yet simple and chic. The choice of white sequins is perfect to stop the dress from becoming too much. Wear it with solid (non-sparkly), color-pop shoes.

< En Crème $68
At first I was unsure, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. Plus, lace is in. The cream color adds a nice "vintage" touch too. Wear it with similar colored shoes.

BLESSUS.pl

I discovered this website while working on an entrepreneurship project a couple weeks, and just remembered to post it. This Polish site is all about clothing with hidden zippers. These "hidden zippers" allow the wearer to transform their look in minutes. I know what you're thinking, it's all dresses. You know, unzipping them from being floor length to a mini skirt. Yes, there are those, but there are also plenty of interesting designs such as shirts, skirts, and my favorite coats. I absolutely LOVE a couple of these transforming coats. Lots of these looks are really good for an office worker. They're very classy and perfect for business events.

My Room

This is what my room looks like. I changed rooms last year, from my tiny baby room into our larger guest bedroom. I've always wanted a walk-in closet; unfortunately there isn't one in my room. Therefore I did my best to create one. I took the closet doors off their hinges and pushed my mattresses in as far as they would go. Then I purchased multiple racks to hang all my clothing on. As drawn, skirts, pants, shorts, dresses, long-sleeve shirts, short-sleeve shirts, sweaters, scarves, and belts are placed around the room. Other things such as jackets, cardigans, sleeveless shirts are also hung along other parts of the room including the bookcases and window ledges.
I've become bored of this layout though. (I tire of things quickly.) Consequently I'm intending to move some stuff around. With the earlier sunrise time I want to move the mattresses (no, I don't have a bed frame. I like being closer to the floor), over by the windows. Then I intend to put the two tables on which my speakers and tv sit in the closet. Next, I'll spread the racks apart so I can see my range of clothing much easier. I also want to reorganize my whole jewelry layout. I need more space to see everything.
When I'm an adult, I'm buying a house with a walk in closet, and then I will do the same thing. I'll put my bed in the closet and lay all the clothing out in the larger room area so I can see everything easily.
